West City Concert Band

The West City Concert Band is a West Auckland community wind orchestra, consisting of around 50 volunteers who practice together weekly and perform at various events throughout Auckland. The band is made up of people of all ages, and has encouraged many people to renew their love of music and performing.

Under the musical direction of conductor Chad Davenport, the band has risen to national acclaim. West City Concert Band received both the Outstanding Overall Band award and first in the competitive category at the New Zealand Concert Band Association annual Festival for the past two years.
