Amy Wadman
Dancer / Pas de Trois
Amy has attended Auckland Academy of Dance from a very young age. She studies a wide range of dance disciplines including Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Contemporary, and she has received multiple placings in her Jazz dance NZ exams. In her time at the studio she has featured in a variety of stage adaptations for the school.
Amy has had the opportunity to perform for multiple music videos for NZ artists such as Amara Duru (Keep on Moving), Valkyrie (Lost Soul) and Julia Turner (Running)
On the live stage has performed for the NZ National Body Art Competition 2018 and The Queen Street Santa Parade the same year. Most recently she has been a member of the ensemble of Robin Hood at the Logan Campbell Centre (The Stage Co.)
As a competitive dancer Amy has travelled to NZ National Competitions three years running as well as SDNZ Hip Hop International Regionals in Auckland. She has also been awarded ‘Most Promising Dancers at the AAD 2018 Prizegiving.
As a part of The Arts Factory Dance troupe, she looks forward to widening her experiences as a performer in shows such as this.
