Richard Breed

Richard is a full-time musician and music educator. He is a trumpet/flugelhorn player, musical director, HOD Music at Pakuranga College and father to three boys. Richard performs regularly in a wide range of musical settings, from rock bands to symphony orchestras, and as a genuine multi-instrumentalist can also be seen on piano, guitar and sometimes bass. He joined West City Concert Band in 2014 and has been President of our Executive since 2015. Richard is driven by his love for and enjoyment of music and is always looking for the opportunity to do something new and exciting.
