Sylvie Lloyd

Dancer

Sylvie is no stranger to the stage. A competitive dancer from the age of nine, Sylvie has been awarded many placings and trophies, most recently ‘Most Conscientious Dancer’ at the 2018 Prize Giving for AAD and ‘Top of Dance’ at MAGs. She has competed for AAD at NZ National competitions in Contemporary and Hip Hop Regionals over the past four years and has been awards multiple placings from exams with Jazz Dance NZ.

In the professional forum she has appeared in Music Video ‘Keep on Moving’ for Amara Duru, (2017) various charitable performances with KISS theatre including ‘Tom’s Marvelous Imagination’, ‘Lost Toys’ and Robin Hood as Daisey the Cow, at the Logan Campbell Centre. She has been a part of the Farmers Santa Parade two consecutive years and performed at the NZ Body Art Awards at the Q Theatre.

In 2018 Sylvie was nominated for an NZAMD Contemporary Scholarship which took her down to Wellington to individually compete at a National Level.
