West City Music welcomes you to a vibrant collection of music from the award-winning West City Concert Band, West City Youth Concert Band, and West City String Orchestra. Join us for a collaboration of huge proportions, including a pop-up symphony orchestra for the very first time, playing an excerpt from Beethoven’s 1st Symphony.
This concert will feature cinematic and theatrical favourites from Laputa: Castle in the Sky, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Fiddler on the Roof, stirring melodies such as Spittal’s Pacem and Ticheli’s Shenandoah, blazing marches like Sousa’s Stars & Stripes and Smith’s Flight, and so much more! From Mozart to Weather Report, this concert truly has something for everyone.
