Join other young musicians from all over Auckland and the wider region for four days of music making.
Students receive coaching from professional musicians and get to choose elective activities like jazz band, symphony orchestra, composition and conducting. All of this comes together for a public concert on the final evening. Students come away from this event with heaps of enthusiasm for playing music and greater confidence for returning to their school bands and orchestras.
The programme is intended for Intermediate and High School aged musicians and is structured to cater to a wide range of music abilities. It is open to strings, brass, woodwind, percussion and choral musicians playing at equivalent to grade 3 level or above. For choral participants, some musical literacy or confidence with using your voice is an advantage.
This is a NON-RESIDENTIAL camp and the cost for the week is $150. Players will need to be dropped off and collected from camp each day and will not be allowed to leave the premises without permission. Participants will need to bring their own food and drink each day.

Wednesday 21st / Thursday 22nd
9 am – 4 pm: Programme for all participants
Friday 23rd
9 am – 5 pm: Programme for all participants
5 pm – 6 pm: Pizza party
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Evening performance (Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend)
