Featuring the West City Concert Band, West City Youth Concert Band and West City String Orchestra in a joint celebration of music!

This casual event will be enjoyable for all ages and includes a wide range of musical styles. Selections include the fiery “Flying Jewels” and “Ignition”, stirring marches like “Stormchasers”, Sibelius’ “Andante Festivo”, and John Mackey’s heart-wrenching ballad, “Cruel Moon”.
The West City Reed Trio will also perform “Jubilant Trio” by our own Feiyang Wu. The trio recently received Best Performance of an Original Composition at the NZCT Chamber Music Contest.
Along the way listeners will discover interesting facts and musical elements which make these pieces so special.
